We provide benefits to our employees that are at a minimum aligned with local regulations but when possible try to offer social conditions that are better than average. All local BSD offices follow local legislation and market customs with regard to extra-remuneration employee benefits. The larger offices are more advanced and have more financial leeway to provide benefits for their employees. There is no global employee benefit plan in place, however local offices are encouraged to go beyond the law in this respect. The following table* illustrates the benefits provided to employees in many of our offices that go beyond legal requirements.
*BSD works with four different employment contracts, distinguishing between permanent and temporary as well as full-time and part-time contracts. In addition, freelance experts are hired to work on a permanent project-basis in a specific area of expertise but do not have a full-fledged employment contract.
